The 2015 New Mexico Association of Student Affairs Professionals Annual Symposium will be held at The University of New Mexico campus in Albuquerque, NM. Higher education needs leaders to help shape the future of Student Affairs on campus.
“Equity” and “inclusion” are more than just buzz words, they’re the keys to setting up students for success in the world of higher education and to preparing students to work and interact in the diverse world beyond the college classroom. Student Affairs and general university life is broken into units, departments, and divisions, but our symposium focuses not on dividing but on unifying – unifying efforts to dismantle educational disparities and to tackle the challenge of fostering, promoting, and advocating for an equitable and inclusive experience for all students in their curricular and co-curricular activities.
